SKYBOX IMAGING RAISES $3M IN SERIES A FINANCING

Palo Alto – July 31, 2009:  Skybox Imaging, an early stage startup spun out of Stanford University, today announced the successful completion of its Series A financing of $3 million led by Khosla Ventures. The company will use its first round of financing to expand the team and further the development of the preliminary design for the first two satellites.

With this investment, Pierre Lamond, partner at Khosla Ventures, will join Skybox Imaging’s board of directors.
